Preventive care- Drink tender coconut once a day Have ginger water after food at night. A fennel seed (saunf) after meals is very effective to reduce the problem.
Mouth ulcers are painful, clearly defined, round or oval sores that form in the mouth.
When these are recurrent they can be due to various causes like anxiety, stress, indigestion, chewing sharp or hard foods. Foods like chocolate, coffee, peanuts, almonds, strawberries, cheese, tomatoes and wheat flour can aggravate the ulcers Smoking can cause increased mouth ulcers. Vitamin B12 or Iron deficiency or disease of the intestines like intestinal ulcers, crohn’s disease. Frequent use of some medicines like painkillers etc, can also aggravate this.
Preventive Care- Have yoghurt twice a day, chamomile tea, carrot juice or wheat grass juice. Have green leafy vegetables, fruits and salads. Avoid-drinks containing artificial sugar, spicy or oily food, or beverages like coffee.

These are worsened by the intake of milk, and any dairy products like curd, butter, ghee, cheese etc. and regurgitations which look like curdled milk. There may also be recurrent coughs or respiratory allergic conditions with the lactose intolerance.

Sit in the cross legged posture and close your eyes, concentrate on your breathing. Count the inhalations and exhalations for 10 breaths. Inhale deeply and while exhaling, chant an “OM” as slowly as possible. Oooooooommmmmmmmmm……….Feel the vibration of the OMKARA throughout the chest and the throat, and feel the energy and the positivity fill you. Repeat this for 8- 10 times and then relax.
