Swara Yoga is the science of the union of different vibrations created by sound of one`s own breath. By becoming aware of the breathing patterns, we can understand the effect it has on our body and mind.Once this understanding takes place, the breathing pattern can be altered by yoga sadhana to make our life harmonious and balanced. Swara Yoga is about the effect of nasal breathing on our body and mind through right nostril (Pingala Nadi), left nostril (Ida Nadi), both nostrils (Sushumna Nadi). The Nadi can be changed suited for different physical and mental activities by Yoga Danda method, Lying Down method, Arm Pit method and Nadi Shodhana pranayama. The practice of Swara Yoga can be used in daily life to save the vital force of Prana and to utilize it to get optimum benefit.
