I am practicing yoga from last six months at Dhriti and keep great interest in Yoga now I got to know about the benefits of different poses which we do during sessions and I feel like sharing it with all of u..
1. Downward-Facing Dog Pose:
Quiets an active mind and balances out mood swings common during adolescence.
2. Wheel Pose:
Increases confidence and teaches surrender during turbulent times.
3. Plank Pose:
Builds a strong core, essential throughout life.
4. Warrior Pose II:
Helps the body find balance between effort and ease and between the sympathetic (activating) and parasympathetic (relaxing) nervous systems.
5. Legs-up-the-Wall Pose:
Allows time out from work and caretaking, helps restore the body, and calms the mind.
6. Shoulderstand:
Helps relieve stress, mild depression, and menopausal symptoms.
7. Tree Pose:
Helps keep bones strong and builds confidence as you age.
